This ageless song is written and tuned by Rabindranath Tagore, the world renowned noble winning poet. Mehedi Mahmudul Hasan, Associate Professor of Department of Fisheries and Marine Science of Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) and President of Dhaka University Fisheries Alumni Association, sang the song of Robi Thakur for the first time.
This music lover teacher of NSTU was singing the song of his own style keeping unchange the grammar of Rabindranath Tagore. Rupon Chowdhury organized the music of the new song. The song has been recorded from Patamjururi Studio.
Asked about the story behind this song, Mehdi Mahmudul Hassan said, “It’s a good song to sing, and I always feel a keen interest towards Rabindra sageet and I sang the song from love.”
He is also very happy to sing such an acclaimed song, he said.
