Live Correspondent: They swooped on Suborna Nodi, 32, when she answered the door at Radhanagar Majumdarparha in the town around 10:45pm on Tuesday, police and local journalists said quoting witnesses. “Some unidentified men rang the doorbell. They fled after hacking her indiscriminately when she opened the door,” Pabna Additional Superintendent of Police Ibne Mizan said. The mother of a 9-year-old girl died on the way when the locals were taking her to a hospital, he added.Suborna and her husband ‘Rajib’, a businessman’s son, recently separated and a legal battle over the divorce was under way, locals said. Journalists in Pabna have condemned the killing of Suborna and demanded that the murderers be immediately brought to justice.
